Update 06/08/2020: Web Article, QuakeC, & Engine

Hey Ya'll! David here with a late update!

So, the reason for our silence this time, is that COVID-19 has me, and others, busy with their day jobs. I've been pretty much working non-stop for the past few months, and have only recently been able to get back to work. During our absence, two things have happened.

The first, is that a magazine website known as VoyageDallas.com is doing an article about me and the project! Hopefully, this will let us reach more people and grow our audience!

The second, is that our original QuakeC coder has agreed to come back to our project, after his current project is finished! The only problem, is that his project is supposed to be completed next year. However, we will press forward! Polishing up the game as best we can for a Steam Early Access release by the end of Summer 2020. He has agreed to work on and off with us till the release, so hopefully we'll get a couple of things done!

Lastly, we are currently working on the engine again, as it has been giving us some trouble with rendering stuff. This is due to it using an alpha branch of the GLdc OpenGL Dreamcast implementation, and not the master branch. Luckily, our engine coder is currently working on converting it to the master branch, and although it will take a small performance hit, it's at least better for reliability!

We are cleaning up the assets (UI/sound/textures) to make them more launch friendly, and will soon try to find a release date we can work with!

Thanks for sticking with us!
