DC Version Now Runs at 60 FPS!!!
Hey Ya'll! Thanks to the hard work of mrneo240, we've gotten our game to run at 60 FPS in most areas, with very little slowdown in larger/complicated areas! It's much more playable than it used to be when it was at 20 FPS. We've also fixed up some of the bugs in the various versions as well. Here is a changelog:
Changes:
- Upgraded to latest version of NuQuake
- Fixed Cutscene Crashing
- Fixed King Slime's slimeball hitbox (still needs work)
- Added sounds to platforms
- Added proper textures to lilypads
- Added new Water/Slime/Lava textures
- Added platform on E1M3 to rise up when boss is defeated
- Added back in other options from regular NuQuake
- Geometry optimization fixes for faster framerate
- Fixed Dreamcast tutorial sounds to proper control sounds
- Made the tutorial enemy be surrounded by lava instead of water for better tutorialization
